Information for Cities and Counties To Comply With the Ruling

Under Judge Coughenour's 2004 Court Order (Section II) the injunction applies to "Salmon Supporting Waters." For the purposes of the injunction "Salmon Supporting Waters" are defined as "the area below the ordinary high water mark of all streams, lakes, estuaries, and other water bodies where salmon are ordinarily found at some time of the year." For excellent maps of these streams go to the Washington State Department of Agriculture website and search by county:
