But current Federal law does not protect you and your family. In fact health and safety testing has been required on only 200 of the 80,000 chemicals on the market. Chemicals in our everyday lives can harm your reproductive health and the health of our kids. As a health care provider, it’s our job to promote healthy families. That's why Planned Parenthood is working with our partners in the environmental community to try to limit chemicals that have been linked to health problems like infertility and breast cancer.
