Are you confused about what to eat? The media bombards us with news about what science has determined to be the latest miracle food, only to villainize the same food a few years later. What’s the truth? This talk is designed to educate you on the basics of a health-giving nutritional program, because what you hear in the news is not a good guide to what to really eat. How can you tell what good nutrition means, and what you should eat?

Join Seattle naturopathic doctor Deborah Epstein, ND, at Penaluna Chiropractic Studio, the office of Dr. Jason Penaluna, for a common-sense look at how to fuel your body for long-term high-level wellness. Learn how to structure a sound basic nutrition program for yourself, including how to avoid the toxicity of this country’s industrial food system. Space is limited; pre-registration is required.

Cost is $10 for patients; $15 for non-patients, with all proceeds directly benefiting the Washington Toxics Coalition. A credit card is required to hold your spot, but you may swap that for a check upon arrival, for tax-deduction purposes. To register, call Dr. Epstein at 206-547-1980, or Therese at Penaluna Chiropractic, at 206-547-9944.

Note: Registration is non-refundable; however as a minimum of 5 pre-registrations are required to proceed with the event, in the event of cancellation, the cost will be refunded or applied to a future session. For dates/times of future events, please visit www.lumina-health.com.

Dr EpsteinBio: Seattle naturopath Dr. Deborah Epstein practices in the Fremont/Wallingford area of Seattle. She approaches naturopathic medicine traditionally, helping people understand that their symptoms are not their problem; rather symptoms are messages from the body guiding us to the underlying problem. Dr. Epstein's special expertise and interests lie in diabetes, digestive health (optimizing digestion and healing digestive disturbances), and the closely related field of cleansing and detoxification. For more information, please visit www.lumina-health.com.

Dr PenalunaBio: Seattle chiropractor Dr. Jason Penaluna practices in the Tangletown area, near Greenlake. Naturally, chiropractors help traditional neck and back problems, but Dr. Penaluna also enjoys helping people who suffer from a variety of health issues, and has seen wonderful results with a variety of problems you wouldn’t normally associate with the spine. Find out why other Seattle-area residents are choosing the chiropractor committed to patient education and understanding. For more information, please visit www.penalunachiropractic.com.
