We have an opening for a Event Intern for Summer/Fall 2010. Our Event Intern will work directly with the Development Team to assist in organizing WTC’s 10th Annual Auction & Celebration.

Part-time, unpaid internship

Position Description

We have an opening for a Event Intern for Summer/Fall 2010. Our Event Intern will work directly with the Development Team to assist in organizing WTC’s 10th Annual Auction & Celebration. General tasks include coordinating and supervising volunteers for this special event, data entry, and item procurement and pick-up. The auction will take place at Fauntleroy Hall in West Seattle on October 30, 2010.

Who We Are Looking For

An enthusiastic individual, who is highly motivated, enjoys multi-tasking, and who is comfortable with email, phone, and face-to-face communication. The position will require working in a PC computer environment. Auction database experience is a plus.

Commitment

10 hours a week until the event possibly more as the event draws near, and the whole day and evening of the event on October 30, 2010.
