Congratulations Washington!
It was hard work standing up to the chemical industry and demanding safer baby bottles, food containers and sports bottles made without bisphenol A (BPA.) But, we did it! The Safe Baby Bottle Act is FINALLY on its way to the governor’s desk to be signed into law!

Click here to send an email thanking your legislators for passing The Safe Baby Bottle Act. (If you had one of the few legislators who did not vote for the bill, we've made it easy for you and they won't receive a thank you email.)
This is truly a victory for YOU to celebrate. Without a committed core of heroic citizens rallying for change, there is no way this bill would have passed. This is a BIG DEAL. Legislators received thousands of calls, emails, and postcards from moms, dads, doctors, nurses, grandparents and concerned citizens. It made a difference. Without your help the bill never would have passed with such large margins of victory! Our legislators deserve a big thank you.
I am proud to live in a state that is leading the nation with precedent setting policies that protect families from toxic chemicals in everyday products that put our health at risk. Eliminating BPA from children's food containers and sports bottles is a hard won victory worth celebrating. But we aren't finished yet. Many of the worst persistent toxic chemicals are still used in products like food packaging and children toys, and parents still don't have access to the information they need to make healthy choices for their families.
The dedication and support of people like you have taken us this far. With your help we can continue to phase out the worst chemicals on an urgent timeline, and catch the next "BPA" before it reaches store shelves.
