Take Action: Submit a photo and bring the toxic-free dreams of moms everywhere closer to a reality.
Take a picture of yourself, your friends, family, or co-workers with an “I want to be toxic-free” sign, which can be read in the photo. We will make sure your members of Congress get the message that mothers and people with mothers want to be toxic-free.
If you have been keeping up with all the latest news on toxic chemicals, then you already know about an exciting bill that was introduced in Congress recently ago called the Safe Chemicals Act of 2010. This bill is our once-in-a-generation opportunity to fix our nation's 30-year old failing chemical law. The perfect Mother's Day gift!
So, you want to help the world be a healthier, less-toxic place for Mother's Day? You have come to the right place. Follow the simple directions below.
- Take a picture of yourself, your friends, family,
or
co-workers with an “I want to be toxic-free” sign, which can be read in
the
photo.
- Download our release form here and fill it out by typing the information onto the form. (If you have trouble with this part let me know.)
- Email the digital photograph and the release form to action@watoxics.org by Tuesday, May 4th.
- Pat yourself on the back and let all the special
mothers in
your life know you did this for them by sending her an e-card here.
- We will compile all the photos we receive into a digital “photo quilt” then send you a link so you can see the finished product and share it with your mom. We will also be taking this digital photo quilt to meetings with your members of Congress.
