Sun is shining, weeds are sprouting

Spring came early this year, and so did the weeds. You can stay one step ahead of them while you enjoy the spring weather with our smart gardener tips.

Sun is shining, weeds are sprouting

Spring is here! It’s official now, but already we’ve had more than our usual share of warm lounging-in-the-yard weekend days. And at least in my yard, it’s not just the people who have taken notice—the plants are all ahead of schedule, and that includes the weeds!

Now is a great time to enjoy the spring weather and take some steps that will reduce weed problems while making for a yard that's healthy for plants and people.

WTC’s FastFacts FAQs has a great guide on where to start on weeds in the lawn and garden. Enjoy!
